The Nigerian Picture
Icon Contest is a foundation established in January 2005
to encourage people to wear clothes made by Nigerian
fashion designers with Nigerian fabric . The contest
is also creating models that can influence the
perception of our present and coming generation towards
embracing the Nigerian fashion style and fabric.
The Foundation
promotes young fashion designers and photographers
through fashion shows within and outside the country. It
also helps to act as mediator between the textile and
fashion industry
The Aim of Contest
The
contest is designed to boost the patronage of Nigerian
textile, fashion, photographic, related industries and
create jobs.
The Foundation is using
the grand pubic voting system to select the best nine Nigerian fashion of the year. The system is
implemented online via SMS and Internet and it is
completely free to vote.
The contestant
consists of three categories : Male, Female and,
Couples. You can vote for all the categories and more
